My home sits directly across from Cadet metro station, in one of the most charming and lively corners of the 9th arrondissement. Unlike some of the city’s more tourist-heavy areas, it has kept a genuine neighborhood feel — the kind of place where locals and visitors mingle in everyday Parisian life.
Charming cafés, outstanding bakeries, excellent restaurants and independent boutiques line the streets, lively from morning until late in the evening. And yet the Opéra, the Grands Boulevards and Montmartre are all within walking distance.

Two of the city’s most beloved food streets: fromageries, pâtisseries, wine shops and market stalls, right at your door.
Historic playhouses and legendary venues like the Folies Bergère, a few steps from home.
Glass-roofed 19th-century arcades with antique shops, bookstores and tea rooms — Paris as it was in 1819.
Paris’s grand opera house, about a 15-minute walk away, with the department stores of Boulevard Haussmann just behind.

Cadet station takes you directly to Opéra, the Louvre (Palais Royal–Musée du Louvre) and Châtelet, with no change.
Gare du Nord (Eurostar) and Gare de l'Est are about a 10–15-minute walk, or two stops by metro.
The RER B runs directly to Gare du Nord in about 35–40 minutes, then it's a 10–15-minute walk. Taxis charge a fixed €56 fare.
Metro line 14 into Paris, then line 7 to Cadet — allow 40–50 minutes overall. Taxis charge a fixed €45 fare.

Lia's home was right in the heart of many restaurants, cafes, boulangeries etc. You walk out of the apartment and turn left or right and you can take your pick.
